Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS)
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme is a UK government grant that provides funding towards the cost of replacing fossil fuel heating systems with low-carbon alternatives like heat pumps.

Eligibility Requirements
- You own the property (including second homes and rental properties)
- Replacing a fossil fuel heating system (oil, gas, electric, or LPG)
- Property has a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)
- Installation by an MCS-certified installer (like ICY Solutions)
- Property in England or Wales (not Scotland or Northern Ireland)
- Not means-tested — available regardless of income
